Today is the last day of the shoot focussed on Hip-opulent. It has been an amazing two weeks to bing the new collection to the road. We have a fantastic team and we simply want to thank everybody today to always go new ways and think ahead in terms of hair cut & colours. We look forward to a great kickoff in Prague in February and hope to see most of you there. For everybody that won’t make it, please be part of the show via livestream!
It’s the end of the shoot but for sure just the start for the new collection 1/2012!

This group of people is dedicated to the pursuit of pleasure, they live life hard and fast and hunt out the coolest hangouts with the wildest music and the most beautiful people. 5th day of the EL collection photoshoot is all about Sports Junkies. Sports Junkies are those people that like to take it to the max at the gym or white water rafting down a raging river, the endorphin rush is what they live for. They wear the latest in high tech sportswear, but are equally enthralled by the high fashion, seeing it as a chance to show off their lithe limbs. Today we have 4 models representing this trend direction and getting in action on the photo & film set.

Today is all about glamour and super sexy expensive looks. Danielle and Audrey our two Dark Angel models are smoldering hot and look absolutely fabulous. Both Tyler and Lesley have delivered “on trend” haircuts and colours for this amazing seasonal trend direction and we cannot wait to see their pictures in the EL book.

For those of you who new to Essential Looks and to our regular followers we would like to welcome on board a new member to the EL team, Nina Grassnickel. Nina and Steve are now working together as an Essential Looks creative double act along with Tyler and Lesley to collectively push Essential Looks to an even wider global audience…..so watch this space for new and exciting ideas which will support EL in the coming year.

Welcome to our first full day of the EL collection photoshoot. Today we have two beautiful Dark Angels, Corallin and Dalia. The Dark Angels look and feel is all about confident, seductive and mysterious women. We have changed our direction for this edition of Essential Looks and you will see Catwalk looks which in turn have a clear link to Salon looks, showcasing the fact that all of the Essential Looks trends are easily adaptable for salon clients everywhere.

We also have a film crew with us who are filming footage for our EL World tour event in Prague on February 4th 2012, so an exciting first day.

Hello from Hamburg and welcome to day three of the EL blog.

Today we have Dalia from Dark Angels and our two lovely models all the way from China !! Raico and Corallin arrived in Hamburg yesterday and are excited to be a part of the EL collection. We also welcome today a very special guest from China, Shuping Zhang who joins us from Bejing and will be with us for the coming days to see how the EL collection comes to life as well as assisting us in the EL studio and trying to get used to the cold weather in Hamburg !!!.
